Tenko I Love Music
OJI HALL
Different from the previous two attempts in this Noh series fused with classical music, this piece – Tenko I Love Music – is replaced with Western-style music in the second half. Since the play, Tenko, is more like an opera, it offers a unique performance featuring psychological portrait of the Eastern and Western, while you can enjoy the music of Noh.
The first part provides an exquisite performance of the original Noh play, Tenko.
The music funeral in the second part is expressed solely with Kato’s music and Munenori Takeda‘s play, which play a role as the harmonies between the present Noh and classical music. The violins highlight a contrast on performance of the Western style by Shinozaki, and the Eastern style by Ryota Kuratomi, Kentaro Konishi and Taiga Tojo.
